[Dispatch] Com Truise 2xLP Galactic Melt 10th-anniversary repress + 8-track release

DISPATCH

2xLP repress & 8-track format release for Galactic Melt
A decade ago, Com Truise made his full-length Ghostly debut with Galactic Melt. Unknowingly he had stepped into a genre prism; suppose we know it now as synth-wave though the tag never landed squarely. To Seth Haley, this was a space to explore and a story to tell, which the producer and graphic designer would do across the saga of releases that followed. Bold, imaginative, and unapologetically cosmic, Galactic Melt occupies a beloved coordinate in the Com Truise catalog, considered the gateway for many. To celebrate its 10th anniversary, Haley and Ghostly have repressed the long-sold out 2xLP along with a limited edition 8-track, and added five unreleased tracks to the expanded digital edition, giving this classic its due treatment as it passes the milestone.

The limited-edition vinyl and 8-track ships on or around March 11, 2022. Preceding the physical release is an expanded digital tracklist, surfacing more music from the Galactic Melt era. Single "Arwarw" streams today with the full tracklist hitting all platforms on January 21, 2021.

                          Pre-order Galactic Melt

This is a real 8-track (the magnetic-tape sound recording technology of the '70s and early '80s, now a beloved rarity) and it will play in the event you have a working 8-track deck.
